GMM 5: Diliman’s Bowling Festival: Parade of Colors and Strikes (WAF)

UAP Diliman celebrated its November General Membership Meeting with Diliman’s Bowling Festival: Parade of Colors and Strikes, a vibrant and high-energy social event aligned with the World Architecture Festival theme of celebrating creativity and community. Members arrived in vivid, festival-inspired outfits, bringing color and excitement to the lanes.

The event began with short opening remarks followed by a warm-up session led by the event heads from the Logistics Committee. Six lanes were booked for the evening, accommodating over 40 bowlers who rotated in teams. The festive atmosphere was strengthened by lively music, friendly competitions, and creative prizes for top scorers and striking outfits. Food and drinks were served throughout the event, with pizza per lane sponsored as part of the evening’s celebration.

The bowling festival served as a meaningful opportunity for officers, members, and guests to unwind, build rapport, and strengthen inter-committee bonds. It also created a welcoming space for new participants and emerging volunteers to feel at home within the chapter.

The activity directly supports the UAP National thrust of Member Empowerment by promoting fellowship, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. Through informal yet purposeful gatherings like this, UAP Diliman strengthens its internal community—an essential foundation for a productive and service-oriented chapter.
