A Holistic Outreach of Art, Play, Medicine, Architecture, and Faith
Blueprints of Hope: Christmas at Guanella was held on November 29, 2025 at the Guanella Center, Servants of Charity in Quezon City as a holistic Christmas outreach integrating architecture, arts, play, medicine, and faith. Organized in collaboration with 1 Family Alive Mission, Inc., UP Diliman College of Home Economics Extension Program, QCHDPA, Lingkod Greenhills, UAP Diliman Chapter, UAP Elliptical Chapter, and UAP District A4, the activity aimed to respond to the physical, emotional, and social needs of children with special needs and senior citizens in the community.

The event featured sports play and structured movement activities, art therapy sessions, and feeding programs for the children, fostering joy, expression, and social interaction in a safe and inclusive environment. Simultaneously, licensed physicians from the Quezon City Health Department Physicians’ Association conducted free medical check-ups and distributed medicines to elderly members of the community, ensuring immediate health support and preventive care. Volunteers from partner organizations and UAP chapters worked together to facilitate activities, reinforcing collaboration and shared responsibility.

Beyond the outreach activities, the event also served as a platform for dialogue on long-term community support. Members of the UAP Diliman Chapter, together with partner chapters, engaged in discussions with the Guanella Center’s administrators and clergy regarding future assistance, including architectural support for permit processing and potential design services for a proposed chapel and perimeter fence. This initiative reflects the chapter’s commitment to Bayanihang Arkitektura—extending professional expertise beyond practice to serve communities—while advancing UAP’s thrust on Visionary Initiatives and Member Empowerment through values-driven, people-centered action.
