The SULOG exhibition, subtitled Philippine Architecture in the Field of Tension / Filipino Architecture at the Crosscurrents, opened on September 19, 2025, at the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

The exhibition is a major cultural project under the Philippines’ Guest of Honour participation at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2025, organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in collaboration with DAM.
Curated by Ar. Edson Cabalfin, a proud UAP Diliman member, together with co-curator Patrick Kasingsing, the exhibition explores how Philippine architecture stands at the crossroads of tradition, identity, and global exchange. SULOG showcases works and ideas that reveal how Filipino architects respond to cultural and environmental challenges through design.

The opening featured messages from key figures such as DAM Director Peter Cachola Schmal, Consul General Ivy Banzon Abalos, and Senator Loren Legarda, who emphasized the importance of cultural collaboration and the global visibility of Filipino creativity.
While not a UAP Diliman-organized event, the chapter proudly recognizes Ar. Edson Cabalfin’s role as curator, representing the chapter and the Philippines in this landmark exhibition that elevates Filipino architecture on the world stage.
