A memorial service was held on October 29, 2025, at the Benito Sy Pow Auditorium of the UP College of Architecture to honor the life and legacy of Ar. Grace C. Ramos— esteemed faculty member, UAP Education Committee contributor, alumna, and proud member of the UAP Diliman Chapter.
The service brought together members of the academic community, alumni, colleagues, friends, and representatives from UAP Diliman and UAP National. The chapter’s presence was highlighted through the attendance of Chapter President Ar. Lea Manuel and VP Ar. Rafael Reyes, reaffirming UAP Diliman’s support and deep respect for Ar. Ramos’ contributions to the profession.
Eulogies delivered by colleagues—including Armin Sarthou, Alex Evangelista, Edra Belga (on behalf of Ar. Mary Anne Espina), Faith Varona, and Tessa de Leon—reflected her dedication to teaching, architectural advocacy, and mentorship. UAP Diliman further contributed by providing food and refreshments, as well as extending invitations to UAP National, which facilitated the participation of NEVP Chona Ponce who delivered her message of respect and tribute.
This memorial service aligned with UAP’s thrust of Justice to the Profession by honoring an architect who uplifted architectural education, Visionary Initiatives by remembering her work in shaping future professionals, and Member Empowerment by strengthening connections among architects through shared remembrance and community support.
