Our chapter grows stronger when every member takes part! Committees are where ideas turn into action, and where members can share their skills, passions, and time. Explore the committees below, learn what each one does, and choose the group where you’d like to contribute.
- Executive Committee (Execom)
- The Execom is composed of the elected officers of the chapter, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Auditor. They lead, guide, and oversee all chapter activities for the year.
- Education & Publication (LSD) Committee
- In charge of Liwanagan sa Diliman, our very own newsletter publication (both printed and online). The committee also manages event writeups, articles, and other publications.
- Membership Committee
- Handles chapter and national membership dues, as well as the processing of new members and incoming/outgoing transferees.
- Business Development / Ways and Means Committee
- Focuses on fundraising initiatives and partnerships. This committee invites sponsors and business partners to support chapter programs and events.
- Sports Committee
- Promotes health, wellness, and camaraderie through sports activities, tournaments, and fitness programs.
- Logistics Committee
- Provides coordination and support for chapter activities and events, ensuring that materials, equipment, and resources are in place.
- Secretariat Committee
- Manages records, documentation, and correspondence. They provide organizational support to ensure smooth chapter operations.
- Young Architects Committee
- A space for young architects to connect, share ideas, and explore opportunities to grow within the profession and the chapter.
- Private Practice Committee
- Addresses the needs and interests of members engaged in private practice, offering guidance, resources, and a platform for collaboration.
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee
- Organizes internal and external seminars to help members fulfill required CPD points for license renewal, ensuring continuous professional growth.
- Green Architecture / Resilient Architects Committee
- Promotes sustainable design and resilience in architecture. The committee champions eco-friendly practices and disaster-ready solutions.
- CSR / Bayanihan Architecture Committee
- Leads the chapter’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. Guided by the spirit of bayanihan (collective effort), this committee organizes outreach and community-building projects.
- Digital Innovations Committee
- Responsible for the chapter website, digitalization of records, and technical support during events. The committee also explores new ways to use digital technology in the profession.
- External Affairs / Communications and Creatives Committee
- Manages the chapter’s external relations and public image. It handles communications, promotional materials, and creative content that showcase our projects, events, and advocacies.
- Fellowship, Arts, and Music Committee
- Nurtures camaraderie and creativity among members through fellowship activities, cultural events, and artistic or musical initiatives that celebrate the talents of our community.
