World Architecture Day 2026: Housing is a Human Right. Build It.
BAHAYNihan: A Community-Led Housing Renovation Initiative
There is no debate in saying that housing is a fundamental human right and architects are in a virtuous position to contribute to the discussion and towards concrete solutions: reinforcing our roles not just as designers but as builders of an equitable and just society.
The theme for World Architecture Day 2026 is “Housing is a Human Right. Build It.” The right to adequate and habitable housing for all is a campaign continuously fought for and secured by the people for the people. In the face of multiple calamities, including aberrant weather conditions and destructive earthquakes, we emphasize and strengthen this call towards the underprivileged and less fortunate.
With this, UAP Diliman launches its donation drive for the BAHAYNihan: A Community-Led Housing Renovation Initiative, a collaboration with the community of Ave Maria, Antipolo, Rizal.
The houses need roofing and paint materials to rebuild and renovate and we are asking to contribute to the cause. For questions and concerns, kindly contact Denver at 0927 516 7630 (Phone) and/or 0960 588 2210 (Viber).
