| The UAP QC Diliman Chapter participated in the District A4 District Assembly and CPD Talks entitled “A4 (FORE)SIGHTS,” held last January 31, 2026 at the UAP Headquarters in Quezon City. The activity brought together architects from across District A4 for a full-day learning session focused on professional practice, leadership, and the future direction of the architectural profession. The CPD Talks featured lectures on experiential lighting design, legislative action plans under RA 9266, and strategies for translating architectural vision into business value. Members of the UAP QC Diliman Chapter attended the lecture of Chapter President Ar. Rachelle Lea C. Manuel, which highlighted how architecture is experienced through the senses and emphasized the importance of grounding design decisions in human perception. The program also included the presentation of proposed amendments to the UAP By-Laws delivered by Kathreen R. Odulio, Deputy Executive Director of the UAP Commission on Internal Affairs and member of the UAP By-Laws Committee. Her discussion underscored the importance of sound governance, institutional responsibility, and informed participation in organizational affairs. Through this activity, the Chapter supported the UAP National thrust MOVERS OF PROGRESS by empowering members, advancing professional competence, and upholding justice to the profession. |
