Fellow Talks 2: “Architects Beyond Architecture”

The UAP College of Fellows held Fellow Talks 2: “Architects Beyond Architecture” on September 6, 2025 at the UAP National Headquarters, gathering Fellows and members from various chapters to reflect on life, practice, and advocacy beyond the architectural profession.

The event featured four distinguished speakers: Ar. Gerard Lico (UAP Diliman Member), Ar. Saldy Mascardo II, Ar. Dennis Villanueva, and Ar. William Ti, with Ar. Francis de los Reyes serving as Program Chair and host.
Each speaker shared unique perspectives on how architecture intersects with culture, film, heritage, art, and social responsibility. Ar. Lico presented his experiences in architectural education, heritage preservation, and his creative pursuits that merge architecture with cultural narrative and visual storytelling.
The discussion inspired attendees to reflect on how architects can make an impact beyond buildings—advancing discourse on leadership, advocacy, and nation-building through the lens of design and creativity. The event fostered camaraderie among Fellows and members, embodying the UAP thrusts of Visionary Initiatives and Justice to the Profession.
